Vietnam
      After ending my volunteer work in Thailand, I headed out with two friends for Cambodia and Vietnam. We entered Vietnam in the south, in the Mekong delta region. After spending a few days there, we headed up north to Ho Chi Minh City, then Nha Trang, Hoi An, Hue, and Hanoi. The highlight was spending the night on a boat in Halong Bay, a place I've wanted to visit ever since I first saw pictures of it on TV. I really enjoyed Vietnam. It's a beautiful country with a long coast, mountains, plains, a long and interesting history, and it's a fascinating mix of people, religions, and politics.
